How can I recover old WhatsApp messages after switching phones?
Hey everyone, I’m hoping someone here might have gone through something similar. I recently switched phones and thought my WhatsApp chats would carry over automatically, but when I opened the app on the new device, everything was gone. I didn't do a manual backup before switching (lesson learned), and now I'm kicking myself because there were some really important conversations I’d like to recover.
Has anyone had any luck recovering WhatsApp messages after a phone switch without a recent backup? I tried going through Google Drive but it only had an old backup from months ago, and I’m not sure if restoring that will overwrite anything else. I'm kind of stuck and not super tech-savvy, so any help or guidance would be appreciated.
