Hey everyone! I recently tested this online ID scanner:
while helping at a small conference registration. Some IDs were old, scratched, or had faded text, and I was worried they wouldn’t scan correctly. To my surprise, the tool captured all the details quickly and accurately, even in uneven lighting. Has anyone else tried using it for older or damaged ID cards?

Hi, just reading this thread! I don’t scan IDs myself, but it’s impressive how accurate these tools have become. Even worn or slightly damaged cards can now be captured reliably. Makes me think about all the little daily tasks that are getting faster and easier thanks to AI-based OCR technology. Really cool to see.
