For me, achievements and trophies can definitely boost motivation, especially when they encourage exploration or creative playstyles I wouldn’t normally try. Unlocking a rare trophy feels satisfying and gives a sense of accomplishment. However, if I focus too much on 100% completion, it can start to feel like work instead of fun. I try to balance it—enjoy the main journey first, then chase extra objectives if I’m still invested. It’s similar to spotting a
nice bonus, but it shouldn’t distract from the core experience.
